Understanding Villaj.
Villaj isn't a babysitting service or a rideshare app. It's a community-based platform designed to help you connect with people you already know and trust. Instead of matching you with random strangers, Villaj lets you request help from people you choose.
If you decide to broaden your search and make your request available "all available", you'll still only be connected with members of your local community.
Every Villaj member belongs to a specific area, ensuring that even your widest search for help remains local, familiar, and community-focused.
The Homepage.
This is your start point.

Hirers: You can request rides babysitters, pet care and more.

Helpers: You can set yourself "available" for incoming requests.
Choose what to pay.
Villaj will suggest a price. It's up to you if you would like to raise or lower it. You can always start with a low price and raise it if your request doesn't get filled.
With each price raise, helpers are re-notified.
Select your helpers.
There are two ways for hirers to get the help from the helpers they want.
Choose "All Available" cast a wide net, then when a helper accepts, you can look over their profiles and connections to see if they're the right fit.
Inside the app you can make connections, then use those connection to send to a specific group with ease.
You can choose only people in your phone contacts, helpers you used before or manually choose (More on that below).
Specialized filters.
Specialized filters such as age and gender are popular options. Every family has different preferences. Some may feel more comfortable with an experienced parent, while others may prefer someone closer in age to their children. Villaj gives you the flexibility to choose the helpers who feel like the best fit for your family.
Finding helpers.
Most requests are filled quickly by a helper in your network. Because Villaj puts you in control, you decide who receives your request and what you're willing to pay.
If you'd like to reach more helpers, you can add additional people to the request or increase the offer amount at any time. A popular approach is to start with a price you're comfortable with and adjust it only if needed.
Meet your helper!
Based on your choices, a helper will respond. perhaps you may know them from around town or they may be unknown to you.
You have a window of time to review their profile, see connections they have, any mutual friends, etc.
If they aren't the right fit, simply tap "Choose a new helper"

An "other" request is for anything! Set a time and who to send the request to. Then let just let the helpers know how they can assist!
